The Transition Committee will organize and execute “Meet & Greet” which will introduce the slate of candidates around the diocese and will help organize and execute the electing convention in April 2021. They will then work with the bishop-elect and family to help them move and get settled, offering a welcoming transition to the diocese. The Transition Committee will also work with diocesan leaders and Bishop Hayashi and his family to ensure that their farewell transition is a wonderful celebration of their years of ministry in the diocese. And finally, the Transition Committee will collaborate with the Presiding Bishop’s office, along with diocesan staff and leaders, to help plan the service of Ordination and Consecration.
